Regular membership is open to all current and former investigators who have actually undertaken investigations of genocide, crimes against humanity, or war crimes for the strict purpose of criminal prosecution before an international, national, or other governmental court, tribunal, or commission.  Associate membership is open to others who have supported or otherwise have a bona fide interest in bringing war criminals to justice.
